10 Minutes
I shot this photo last week for the Wall Street Journal and it ran in today's paper. They needed a portrait of Dan Wieden, of the Wieden and Kennedy ad firm here in Portland.....basically, every Nike Ad and many super bowl ads you see where dreamed up by W+K. Anyway, so he is extremly busy and once I finally was able to setup a shoot, I was told he only had 10 minutes. It's a bummer when that happens, but you have to work with what you ahve to work with, so, I went to the building on hour early to setup 2-3 different locations to shoot him in in my 10 minutes. This was the third choice....but it worked the best. Funny how that happens sometimes. To see the article click here.

I had meant to ask you... why is it that Getty images is there next to your name... I was under the impression that you were working directly for the WSJ. Is this another part of the business of photography that I am yet to learn?
Thanks again for giving me the opportunity to work with you, I had a blast seeing how one can work around a ten minute time frame and still produce dynamic shots.
