So yesterday I received my copy of the Nikon - Joe McNally "Speed of Light" DVD. While the film is mainly to showcase the many different uses of the Nikon SB-800 Speedlight, it is also very useful to see how a master such as McNally, one of my favorite photographers, works on location using nothing but speedlights. The guy is amazing and all the different things you can do with little lights is amazing too. Anyway, so I watched the DVD before going to todays weding and used some of what I learned to light a portrait of the bride. This is a 3 light setup (only I am using Canon 550EX's instead of Nikon's) and I think it turned out pretty cool looking.
