Poker

Today my Pops flew home from Vegas and he, Dave (Jenn's brother) and I went up to laCenter to play in a tournament at Chips Casino. There were 40 players and I played some of the best poker I have played in a while. I made one mistake at the end, slow playing 2 pair and letting my opponnent draw out on me, and ended up placing 8th. 8th out of 40 is not too shappy.....Dave was the first guy out, on the first hand and Pops lasted about top 30 or so.

Never really got into poker myself but I watch it a lot on TV - the psychology of it fasinates me. I really like the film "Rounders" and have watched many documentaries on the subject. Not sure if I would be any good at it.

I have a great wife that keeps me in check and does not let my head get too big, a perfect 2 year old daughter named Jordyn who keeps me busy during the day 2 cats, R. Guy and Stripers and my best buddy of all.....my St. Bernard Boxer mix dog named Lexi. When not chasing down the toddler or working I love to hang out with my family, be outdoors, snowboard and put as many miles as possible on my Harley.
