Wrestling
I like wrestling. My brother wrestled varsity for 4 years in high school and every time I shoot it, I think of him. He was good too. He did not lose very much, maybe like 10 or 15 times in 4 years, if that. I remember going to dual meets a cheering for him and I remember I would always go talk to hiim about how he fucked up or how he did good after each match, of course if he lost he would be so pissed he would not talk to anybody for like an hour. I also remember shooting like 3 matches of a dual meet at one school for the paper, then hauling ass over to his school just in time to catch his match. I remember once I walked in the door of his match, just in time to see him get off the mat after pinning his guy in like 15 seconds. I remember putting on plaastic suits and jogging for a long time with him during the season, he dumping weight at the last minute, me telling myself I was getting ready for baseball. Yep, wrestling brings back good memories, I'm glad I get to shoot it every week.

Professional Athletes
Balyee Mac
This is one of my favorite photos. My little sister's kid Baylee feels like my own child. I can't get enough of her and boy does Lexi just freaking LOVE her and vice versa. I was shooting something totally different, I think a portrait in the studio and these two walked out and sat on the ground and did this...I turned the camera, got one frame and now it is in the collection for good.

Go Ducks!
I'm a Duck fan. Have been my whole life. One of my earliest memories was me and my dad driving from Klamath Falls to Eugene to see a game at Autzen on my 8th birthday. My parents were divorced by then and I did not get to see my dad much, but I remember that day...we got a speeding ticket in his white Fiero.......Been a duck fan ever since. The last few years I have shot the civil war and one of my photos from last years game was in SI on Campus. However, this year was different because this was my daughters first civil war! I decided at the last minute to skip the game and stay home with my family and some friends and dress my kid up like a duck....sick and wrong I know, but damn are we a good looking Duck Family or WHAT!
Christmas
I hate Christmas. I know, its wierd, but I do. I hate everything about the holidays. Maybe because when we were kids Christmas sucked. 5 kids and a single Mom who worked her ass off and that will happen...That combined with Business being slow to nothing during the holidays and it just makes me ill. It drives Jenn crazy.....If it were up to me, there would be no tree in my house, no lights, no going to the in-laws all freaking day, no nothing...just another day. Maybe that will change as Jordyn gets older, maybe not. I think the whole thing is blown out. Freaking stores have xmas shit up in Mid October now. That is DUMB!
Anyway, I serve as the Park Photographer for PGE Park, home of the Portland Timbers and Portland Beavers (AAA Baseball) this is the Christmas Card photo for the park this year, the team mascots. This was fun to shoot at least.
Hoops Season Is Here
I love shooting hoops. I spend a lot of time with it. I like to haul around tons of lights and equipment into shitty high school gyms and light it up and I like to use remotes....remotes are cool. The only chance I had to shoot on a remote last year was at the State Chamionships. I got the shot on the left the first game and the other 8 games I shot were only so, so. The shot on the right came in the last game. What made the first shot cool was that the paper I shot it for, The Medford Mail-Tribune had never seen anything like this before, at least on a tight deadline and ran it HUGE, like 5 columns in the next days paper. It looked really good blown up. I hope to do more remotes this year.
The second shot ran in the Beaverton Valley Times and is on the cover of the OSAA program this year too.
Lexi
Here is my Dog Lexi at her favorite place.....the Dog Park by our house. The coolest thing about Lexi is how much she LOVES kids. She always want to go outside and play with the neighbor kids, barks at me when my 2 year neice cries and I pick her up and sleeps curled up in a ball next to Jordyn. It's very cool. I can't wait until Jordyn can run around with her in the creek, river, ocean, park, whatever.
Jordyn Alyssa
There she is....My baby girl. Damn she is cute. Good thing she looks like her mom and not me. Jenn works 8-12 everyday so in the AM its just Jordyn and me. She mostly just drools and sleeps and poops, but she also laughs at most everything I do, which is the coolest thing! I'm sure she will be sick of me taking her photo by the time she is 3 or 4.....
