Today Jenn, my Mom, her boyfriend Bruce and I went on the Toy Run. Basically, 2500 bikes all parade through downtown with a police escort, then end up at the Shriners hospital, where everyone gives toys for the sick children at Christmas. Great cause and great fun too. Seeing the look on everyone's face as they stand on the street corner stuck and waiting for that many Harley's to come rumbling through is pretty cool. The photo above is only half the bikes that were there, my little digital point and shoot couldn't get them all in, but check out
this video I shot to see just how many bikes were there. This is a photo of Bruce my Mom and Jenn:
Jenn shot this while we were going through downtown:
and finally, my mom shot this of Jenn and I as we were riding:
Oh yeah, the rain stayed away the entire ride, except the last 20 minutes on the way home, we got soaked, but at least it was only the last part of the day. On an unrelated, but still fun note, my sister Ali is in town. She is in the Air Force stationed in Germany, so its been a while since we've seen her. To put a perfect end on a perfect day, we went bowling, this is me teaching Jordyn how its done:
